The journey starts at my house on Vancouver Island shown by the blue dot at the bottom of the map.
From there I will drive 233 miles to Port Hardy at the top of the Island.
Then it’s a 22 hour ferry ride overnight to Prince Rupert up through the beautiful Inside Passage .
From Prince Rupert it’s just 1,764 miles to Tuktoyaktuk on the coast of the Beaufort Sea in the Northwest Territories inside the Artic Circle.
Tuktoyaktuk is the only town in Canada on the Artic Ocean that can be reached by road and the furthest North that you can drive in Canada.
You can track my actual position at any time via my satellite SOS device , Note that Google Chrome version above .111 will not correctly display these tracks – use another browser if that happens.
